The other day a friend was complaining bitterly about the cost of milk these days and how much her two toddlers drink and how ridiculously high the price of a gallon of milk is, blah, blah, blah. Since I buy Eliza's "complete medical nutrition" a/k/a formula in bulk and shell out about $1500 per delivery I never really thought how much the formula cost per gallon (no, no dear readers, neither my insurance company nor the government feel the need to pay for this). So I took out my handy dandy calculator and came up with (are you ready):
$57.49 per gallon
That could get me quite a few of these in a year:
